FORMER CONGRESSMAN PATRICK J. TOOMEY ENTHUSIASTICALLY ENDORSES TIM KRIEGER FOR THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION FOR THE 57TH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT PENNSYLVANIA STATE HOUSE SEAT

Greensburg, PA - Tim Krieger is seeking the Republican nomination for the Pennsylvania State House for the 57th Legislative District, which is being vacated by Representative Tom Tangretti at the end of his present term, and is pleased to accept the endorsement of popular conservative leader and former Congressman Pat Toomey.

Former Congressman Toomey made the following statement:

"Tim is a common sense conservative who will bring consistent principled leadership to Harrisburg. He is dedicated to the protection of innocent life, to the advancement of limited constitutional government, to basic fairness in the operation of state government, and to fostering real economic development by working to create conditions in which every business, whether big or small, can thrive. As a legislator, Tim will insist that state government live within its means just as the people of the 57th District must do, and that those entrusted by the people with elective office adhere to the law they have sworn to uphold and defend.

Tim has served our country as an officer in the United States Navy, and has been a leader in the community since leaving the service. He will serve in the General Assembly with the same dedication. I am proud to announce that I am endorsing Tim Krieger for the Pennsylvania State House for the 57th Legislative District. "

In conjunction with his endorsement, former Congressman Pat Toomey is appearing at a reception in support of Tim Krieger Tuesday evening, April 1st at The Duquesne Club in downtown Pittsburgh.
